data collection
We minimize data collection to only what is necessary for personalized movie recommendations:

local data storage
The following data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers:
- • Your movie watchlist and tags
- • AI usage statistics (monthly search and recommendation counts)
- • Premium subscription status (as backup to Apple's records)
- • Your app preferences and settings
- • Generated movie statistics and analytics
This local data can be deleted by removing the app from your device.
third-party services
openai integration
We use OpenAI technology to generate personalized movie recommendations and analyze your movie preferences. Your movie queries and watchlist data are processed according to OpenAI's privacy policy. This data is only sent when you actively request AI features such as natural language search, movie recommendations, or profile analysis.
tmdb integration
We fetch movie information and metadata from TMDB (The Movie Database). Your search queries are processed according to TMDB's privacy policy.
apple in-app purchases
Premium subscriptions and purchases are processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Payment information is handled exclusively by Apple according to their privacy policy. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status and do not have access to your payment details.
We only share the minimum data necessary with these services to provide accurate recommendations and movie information.
export and sharing
- • You can export your watchlist to CSV, JSON, or plain text formats. This export happens entirely on your device.
- • You can generate and share movie personality profiles. These are only created when you request them and are only shared if you choose to do so.
- • You have full control over what data you export or share.

- • Right to opt out of personalized recommendations
- • Right to delete all local data by removing the app
children's privacy
Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
